Piranha Families,

Our first hosted meet was a great success thanks to our awesome swimmers and supportive families. Thank you to all who volunteered to make the meet a success. Special shoutout to our parking crew for their creativity and skill in getting everyone parked. (We hope you're up to the challenge tomorrow night too!)

Summer Camps: Coach Kelli understands that swimmers may need to miss practices due to exciting summer camp opportunities. Unfortunately, we do not have the flexibility to move swimmers into different practice groups. Copies of "On Your Own" workouts will be available at tomorrow's meet if your child is missing practices this week. Swimmers are not required to complete these practices but it may give you some ideas to keep your swimmer in the water this week. For future reference, these copies can be found in the "ribbons" box.

Monday June 22nd Home Meet vs Marlbank, 6:00pm

• The heat is going to be intense tomorrow. Keep swimmers hydrated and cool throughout the day. 
• Parking will again be extremely tight. We kindly ask each family to only bring one vehicle in order to have enough space for the visiting team.
• Showtimes for warm-ups: 8 & under swimmers: 4:20pm, 9 & up swimmers: 4:35pm
• This is an "A" meet. Although we will run some exhibition heats, not all swimmers will be entered in the meet. Entries were made based on time trials and coach observations during practice. (In a "friendly/B" meet, these swimmers will be given priority over those that swam "A" meets.)
• We encourage all swimmers and families to attend each meet and support their teammates. Please stay until the end of the meet to support our relays and enjoy free swim.
• Officials, Timers, Block Monitors, Sweep Judges, and Runners will meet at 5:40
• Concessions will be accepting cash or card.

Donut Wednesdays: Thank you to those families that have already signed up for Donut Wednesdays. The swimmers (and their siblings) appreciate your donations! Please consider signing up (on Swimtopia) to bring donuts to continue our Donut Wednesday tradition.

• Thursday, June 26th: Windy Point at Running Man (A Meet), Showtime for Away Meets: 5:00pm (more details to follow mid-week)
• Monday, July 7th: Windy Point at Colony (A Meet)
• Wednesday, July 9th: Running Man at Windy Point (Friendly/B Meet)

How can my child continue swimming in the fall (and beyond)? Our area has a variety of swim programs available for swimmers of all levels including Victory YMCA, Riverside Cruisers, Hampton Current, and Coast Guard Blue Dolphins. Attached are some details about Coast Guard Blue Dolphins programs as well as Summer Clinic opportunities. I will share information from other programs as they reach out to summer teams. If you have any questions, please reach out; we have families that have experience in all of these programs.
