The 2023 Piranha Season is almost here!

Practice begins next Tuesday, May 30th!

• 6 & under and 7-8: 4:30-5:00pm
• 9-10 and 11-12: 5:00-5:30pm
• 13 and up: 5:30-6:30pm

First week tips:

• Be ready for practice on time...goggles and cap on.
• Wear a swimsuit that fits.
• Parents may sit on the wooden deck, grassy area, or by the clubhouse.
• Let the coaches coach.  They will ask for your assistance if it is needed.
• The first week will be spent assessing swimmers' current levels through fundamentals.
• In case of inclement weather, we will cancel practice via Swimtopia.  Be sure to download the app (you do not need to upgrade to the paid version).
• Bring your registration fee (cash or check, $100) to your child's first practice.
• No practice, Friday June 2nd due to an event at the pool.
• Talk to other swim parents. This is a great way to connect and learn more about the team and the sport.

Spirit Wear orders are due May 30th to ensure that we receive them before the first meet.  A second order with the team roster on the back will be placed in mid-June.

Parent Volunteers: We need parents to step up and become stroke and turn judges. Training is June 7th or 8th at Running Man Clubhouse, 6-8pm.  Stroke and turn judges ensure that swimmers are swimming the respective strokes correctly and that turns and finishes are completed in conformance with the rules. If you have an eye for details, want to learn more about the sport, or were ever a swimmer, this is the perfect position for you.  If you have any questions, please reach out.
